Helium Tanks

To dispose of helium tanks, do the following:

1. Open valve completely to release any residual pressure in tank.
2. Unscrew and remove nozzle by hand or with a wrench.
3. Write “EMPTY” on the tank in permanent marker.
4. Take tank to a steel recycling center or place with curbside recycling pickup. If necessary, dispose with trash.
