SWANCC has established a Pharmaceutical/Sharps Disposal Program for member communities.

Prescriptions and over-the-counter medications:

Operated by the City of Chicago and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA).

Thursdays: 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
1st Saturday of month: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
Residential waste only (no business or commercial sector waste).
Accepts unused or expired medications (non-controlled only). No sharps or needles accepted.
