SWANCC’s transfer station in Glenview, Illinois processes over 287,000 tons of garbage every year. Garbage from the 23 member communities is brought to the transfer station, compressed and tied into bales, and loaded into fully enclosed semi-trailers for the trip to the landfill. The garbage from three garbage trucks can be placed in a single semi-trailer – saving time, fuel, and reducing air pollution.
SWANCC accepts commercial waste as well as construction and demolition debris from businesses, etc. at the Glenview Transfer Station in Glenview, Illinois.
The cost to dispose of commercial waste is $64.00 per ton with no minimum. You can call SWANCC to set up an account or pay by credit card.
