Books4Cause sends books to Africa and the Chicago area.  We accept ALL books in any condition, CDs, DVDs, and small electronics.  We work with schools, universities, libraries, and individuals.  We offer a drop off at Skokie or we can arrange a pickup at your location. Drop-off only; no pickup service is available. Also accepts bicycles, computer equipment and peripherals (including
monitors), TVs (working and non-working, no consoles), small appliances, toys, musical instruments, clothing, furniture in
good condition, home décor and movies (DVD and VHS). No refrigerators or washers/dryers. No mattresses or box
springs. Not all Goodwill stores accept TVs. Please call before dropping off items to ascertain what items are being
accepted.

Lincoln Middle School

A bin is located on the Western Avenue side of the campus near the school parking lot. Unwanted books, workbooks or
textbooks, and CDs or DVDs in any condition, can be donated. Open 24 hours. Funds received from the Reuse Books
organization will be used to expand recycling efforts in Lincoln’s lunchroom and classrooms.

Sales of donated books (including college textbooks and encyclopedias) support literacy programs for students of all ages.
Put books in drop boxes listed on website or see website for other donation alternatives. Also accepts LPs, CDs, and
DVDs in good playable condition. They do not accept:  encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauruses, sets of law books,
magazines / journals, VHS tapes, or pre-college (K-12) textbooks

Also accepts appliances in good working condition (no gas appliances), bicycles, clothing, household goods, musical
instruments (no pianos or organs), working television sets (flat screens only), working computers and flat screen monitors
(must be complete units and less than 5 years old), furniture in good condition (no rips, stains or pet hair), and
mattresses/box springs (no tears, holes, structural damage, or stains).  Not all stores accept all items (e.g., TVs).
Call 1-800-728-7825 to find out the nearest drop off location or to schedule bulk pickups.
